RIPLEY 12, SISSONVILLE 5: The visiting Vikings racked up eight runs in their first three innings to cruise in Cardinal Conference play on Wednesday night in Sissonville.

Bryson Casto went 3 for 4, Parker Keller and Brady McVay each homered and Peyton Keller doubled twice as part of a three-hit night for Ripley (9-2).

Eli Phalen had two hits, drove in two runs and doubled. Peyton Keller and Casto each added two RBIs.

Kyler Doss and Brenton Scholl scored three runs apiece for the Vikings.

Landon Meadows got the win, allowing five runs — three earned — in five frames.

Layne Coffman had two hits and scored two runs for the Indians (8-6). Nathaniel Simonton drove in two runs and Eli Simonton tallied two.

Maddox Balog took the decision for Sissonville. Of the eight runs he allowed in 2 1/3 innings, four were earned.
