Gov. Jim Justice announced plans Monday to call the West Virginia Legislature back for a special session on Sept. 30, with a focus on additional cuts to the personal income tax and a proposed child care tax credit.

According to a news release from the Governor’s Office, final details about the session call are still being discussed. It is expected to include legislation addressing tax cuts, support for child care and the appropriation of supplemental funds to address “other critical needs.â€
