The city’s newest ArtBus will also be unveiled. This year’s designs were submitted by local elementary, junior high and high school students in June and voted on by city residents.

Also as part of FestivFALL, the organization has partnered with the West Virginia Humanities Council to present this year’s McCreight Lecture with novelist and poet Percival Everett.

Everett is the award-winning author of dozens of books. His most recent is “James,� a retelling of “Huckleberry Finn� from the view of Jim, an escaped slave. His book “Erasure� was also recently adapted into the film “American Fiction.�
