A 7-foot-tall bison wearing a green T-shirt was a big hit at Marshall Day at the West Virginia Capitol in ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä.
, made the rounds of the Capitol’s Upper Rotunda. He gave high-fives, had photos taken with visitors and greeted legislators at the annual event, which highlights Marshall’s students, academics and initiatives.
In addition to the presentation of displays for Marshall’s Bill Noe Flight School and other programs, Marshall’s a cappella choir, 3rd Avenue, sang “Country Roads†to visitors.
About 200 students, faculty and staff were expected to attend, according to Leah Payne, director of communications for Marshall University.
