The goal of the West Virginia Home Show is simple: to inspire, motivate and excite homeowners for upcoming home improvement projects, whether it’s a minor renovation or a major remodel.
The under-one-roof venue will be filled with hundreds of exhibits, experts, items, and ideas for changes, upgrades and improvements for both indoor and outdoor environments. Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä for the 55th year, the West Virginia Home Show is the Mountain State’s largest annual event of its kind.
Home Show hours will be noon until 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. until 8 p.m on Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Daily admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors. Youths ages 15 and younger will be admitted free.
The first 100 ticket holders through the doors at noon Friday will get a free lunch, courtesy of Window World.
Among the Home Show attractions, 84 Lumber will host Kids’ Workshop activities from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Show-goers will also have the opportunity to register to win a GE refrigerator, GE range, GE dishwasher or a Whirlpool laundry pair. No purchase is necessary. The drawing will be at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Sponsors include Builders FirstSource, Window World, GE, Whirlpool, Ferguson, 84 Lumber, HD Media, Nitro Carpet Outlet & Design Center and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund.
